Miss Yost is head of the English department here at ICS. In doing so, she teaches the high school honors and AP English classes. Miss Yost joined our staff in 1995. She earned an AA degree from Pinebrook Jr. College prior to earning her BA in English from Geneva College and her Masters in Secondary English from East Stroudsburg State College, both in Pennsylvania.
Miss Yost holds an Instructional I Teaching Certificate from Pennsylvania and FACCS Teaching Certification. She is an approved AP English instructor and attended their training session in 1999.
Here at ICS, Miss Yost also coaches the Ladies’ Volleyball teams (both JV and Varsity) during our fall season and then the Ladies’ Soccer season in the winter months. She has also coached the spring softball team for the ladies.
During her free time, Miss Yost enjoys reading and has helped with the youth groups, AWANA classes, and Sunday School classes.
