Mr. John Beeler is head of the Social Studies department here at ICS. He has been on our staff since 1975. He teaches both Junior High and High School history classes. In addition Mr. Beeler is our High School Chaplain, Student Government Advisor, Key Club Sponsor. Mr. Beeler is also an elder at Island Community Church and often leads the worship services for the Outdoor Resorts of Long Key and Layton Baptist Church. During the summers, Mr. Beeler has been director of Summer Safari and now drives the bus for Camp Eagle and the local Boy Scouts at Sea Base. Mr. Beeler holds a FACCS teaching certificate in history.
