Mr. Hammon announced the graduation honors for this year’s class. Island Christian School awards the graduation honors of cum laude, with honors, magna cum laude, with high honors, and summa cum laude, with highest honors to deserving seniors. As the administration reviews the graduates during the final weeks of school they consider academic grades, course load, number of credits earned, school involvement, offices held, and community involvement during this process. Graduation honors are then bestowed on a select number of seniors based on graduation honor points earned through this evaluation process. Miss Jessica Lankford graduated magna cum laude, and Miss Jennifer Subic graduated with summa cum laude honors. These honor students addressed the seniors and their guests during the ceremony.
