Mr. Allman joined the Island Christian School staff in 1988 as a junior high English and history teacher, PE instructor and coach. Presently Mr. Allman teaches the junior high English and literature classes, elementary boys' PE, and junior/senior high boys' PE. He holds a bachelor of science degree in physical education (minor in history and English) from Sterling College in Kansas. He has also completed special needs classes at the University of Utah. He maintains a Professional teaching certificate from FACCS.
Over the years, Mr. Allman directed the Hidden Treasures program here at ICS and has coached baseball and basketball here at ICS. Prior to coming to the Keys, Mr. Allman taught LD classes, co-ed PE classes, health, and anatomy while at Wasatch Academy in Utah. He also coached boys and girls basketball, boys and girls tennis, and baseball while at the academy.
Mr. Allman's 2 sons have graduated from Island Christian School and Sterling College. Both sons attended college on baseball scholarships.
