Island Christian School enjoys full accreditation status since 1979 by the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS).
FACCS accreditation is nationally recognized by the National Council For Private School Accreditation (NCPSA), the Florida Association of Academic Nonpublic Schools (FAANS), and our national affiliate, the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS).

While over 75% of all private schools in the state of Florida are not accredited, Island Christian School enjoys full accreditation status by the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS).

Island Christian School has never sought, nor expects to seek, accreditation, approval, license, or support from any secular or governmental agency. Island Christian School is accountable to the membership of Island Community Church. For this reason, Island Christian School maintains its accreditation status with only Christian associations of like-minded philosophies.
