About ICS

School Organization
Island Christian School is the name for the educational ministry of Island Community Church as provided for in the church corporate charter. The authority for its existence and its operation comes from the membership of Island Community Church which has delegated administrative authority to the Principal, the business manager, and the board, all who are responsible to the senior pastor. The pastoral staff of Island Community Church serves as the advisory board to the school, as they do in their relationship to all the ministries of Island Community Church, as servants appointed by the membership of the church.

 Message from the Principal

The faculty and staff of Island Christian School welcome the opportunity of working with you and your children this year. We will endeavor to uphold the highest spiritual and academic standards possible here at ICS.

Island Christian School was founded to teach academics from a Biblical viewpoint. We believe in the spiritual command to “train up a child in the way he should go”   (Proverbs 22:6). We are calling on the Lord for another fruitful year as we endeavor to teach and train children. We believe it takes the home, school, and church working together to benefit the child.

In conclusion, be assured that we will do everything possible to meet the needs of your children spiritually, academically, physically, and socially in preparation for their future. Our administration, faculty, and staff are committed to do the best job possible of educating your children.

Sincerely,
 Mr. J. L. Roper
